In 1987, when our foundation started, the Walkman was the hottest tech, New Coke was a thing (briefly), big hair ruled the halls, and a group of community members started something special. – The 877 Scholarship Foundation.
A lot has changed since then. Our dedication to students hasn't.
The 877 Scholarship Foundation is an independent nonprofit that grants scholarships to deserving Buffalo-Hanover-Montrose seniors. Every single year, neighbors, businesses, and Bison alumni have shown up — porkchops in hand — to invest in the next generation of BHM scholars.
Last year we moved to a new home. The event now takes place at Buffalo High School. And this year? We added brats. Standing still was never the plan!
